I am and that's why I'm being seriously tortured right now. The team is sooooo hard to watch. I know many disagree with me, but realistically this team is very capable of being a top 4 team in the West. There is seriously something wrong with this team. Maybe putting all the blame on Nate might not be the only answer. Maybe Failton and Crawful aren't either; but we've shown we can compete, then so that we are just lackluster as well. I get so fucking frustrated man!
Crawford to Clips for Eric Bledsoe who had some pretty decent games for them last yr as a rook, they got too many PG and no decent SG's - Jamal would be a good fit for them
Well hopefully they play enough inspired basketball to up the trade value. I suspect them to faulter in March.
I agree, this team is hard to watch.... I keep saying that outside of Aldridge, Batum and Williams...trade or let everyone else go...sooner rather than later.....start dealing players at the trade deadline NOW.... Both Matthews & Wallace would have some value, I would think Crawford has some value to a playoff team looking for a nice player to strengthen thier bench play...Camby certainly would have some value, I think Thomas has a little as well...Not sure what value Felton has, his play has been so bad to date.... Oden, both Johnsons', Babbitt & both Smith's have little to NO value IMO...How sad is that? 6 players on this roster who really are pretty much worthless on the court (to be fair Craig Smith has had moments) and have little\no trade value.... Look, Aldridge is 26, Batum is 23 and about to become a...gulp....$10+ million dollar player, Williams is what? 22? That is a pretty young group...Add Freeland who is 25? next year...Maybe Claver I guess, at least see what the kid can do...There is 2 of your potential "core 3" and 3 youngsters (probably add 1-2 more in 2012 draft)...that is 7 players...1-2 free agents...9 players...and then whatever you get back from dealing guys lke Matthews, Wallace, Crawford, Camby or Felton...It can be done... You have Camby, Crawford, Felton, Both Johnsons', C.Smith all coming off the books...Maybe Wallace if he opt out (longshot)....Bottom line is that POR will have some cap space to hopefully pick up at least one significant player, maybe 2. You have a 2012 NBA draft that is shaping up to be one of the strongest in recent memory (assuming of course players opt in).... POR could rebuild around Aldridge & Batum pretty quickly if they played thier cards right...add a 3rd piece to those 2, put some young players and some vets around them and then go...but of course all of this would REQUIRE THAT THEY ACTUALLY HAVE A FUCKING PLAN IN PLACE, A PLAN USUALLY FORMULATED BY A GENERAL MANAGER which they haven't had for what? a year now? Don't let Buchanon fuck up another draft, hire a known GM who knows what the fuck they are doing and then Paul\Bert get out of his way.... But the problem is that the moves need to start NOW AT THE TRADE DEADLINE.... So Sorry Mags, wish there was better news to tell, this team COULD rebuild on the fly and do it quickly, but with the level of ineptitude from the Owner on down, I don't see that happening....AND THAT is more frustrating than thier play on the court IMO....
