It will be Armon Johnson that gets waived.

would be funny we drafted Greg, and he was set tpo take Joel's job, and then we cut greg, to give joel a job. Really, at this point, so be it. If he was a RFA this coming offseason, I wouldn't, just, I dunno, to torture fans another year or some shit. But at this point, if we wanted to bring him back on a 3 year low salary, team option type of contract, to allow him to rehab and see what happens, we could, becasue of cap space. I don't see having his bird rights as valuable at all.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Meh. Oden isn't going to be a factor this year or, probably, next year. After that, who knows? But I find it unlikely he'll still be a Blazer at that point.

Of course, Przybilla also isn't going to be a factor.

Which brings me back to meh.

Dream has been dead for a while now. I'm desensitized to that shit. It's all apathy now.

Totally. I don't get emotionally involved, because I don't like to get into the moral narratives.

That's probably why my last six marriages fell apart.

We could sign him to a larger 5-year deal. Just think of what we could get for GOEC (Greg Oden's Expiring Contract) in 2017.

I just feel like the original question is not necessary....

Why would POR waive Oden instead of Armon Johnson? Even with Oden's injuries etc....I just see no justification as to why you would keep Armon Johnson on this team over any other player on this team. Keep him for his what, towel waiving ability?

It's mostly six of one, half-a-dozen of another really except that Armon at least provides them with a 15th healthy body for practice (which as a multiple of 5 maybe makes more sense than 14 healthy bodies?).

I can't imagine they'd waive Greg. It'd be a pain in the arse to deal with media questions after.
