    Last 9 games:

    4-10
    5-13
    3-12
    6-17
    7-15
    5-15
    4-15
    6-12
    6-16
    46-125 = .368

Add in the previous 2 games when he just came back from his injury:
    9-19
    8-14
    63-158 = .398

    That's 16.7% of the season.

For the season he's shooting .419, but .396 from 3pt. He's 112-260 in the rest of the games, or .431.

We need him playing his usual game or we're going to have tough nights like against NOH.

it looks to me like Deng relies on Derrick Rose to penetrate and find him open looks. I wouldn't be surprised if you saw the same types of stats if you looked back over Korver's last group of games. I've noticed that with those two guys, if you hit them in the middle of their shooting pocket with passes they almost always hit, and if you hit them outside of their comfort zone, they almost always miss.

Korver is 25-64 over those same 9 games. .390.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Korver is a strange cat. I thought he was a hot or cold player for a long time, but then I realized that his ability to score is almost completely dependent upon being fed in the right way. Derrick wasn't feeding people in the middle of their body in his first couple games back and then he had a better night last night -- and Korver had a good night. I think it's almost never Korver's fault. He's a weapon but you have to use him in the right way.

Really, I think you can include Boozer in that above statement as well. They're all good at what they do, but they have to be hit in their spots to be effective.

I love it when I make a thread like this and Luol comes out and goes 9-14 and we dominate.
