Amen. I'm really looking forward to this game. The Sixers have fallen off a bit, but they're good. They play a lot like the Bulls, but without the benefit of a superstar...in a way, more like the Skiles Bulls. As long as the Bulls don't get out-worked, they win.
Skiles-era Bulls is exactly what I think of when I watched the Sixers. Not especially talented, but well balanced and very scrappy. Last night was a good win. The Sixers are a good team and they come at you hard, especially at home. Great composure at the end. I'm glad we're bringing Rip back in slowly. We're playing him like we know this is our only shot to get the team healthy and in sync for when the playoffs roll around....so we better not blow it. I'm a firm believer in the multiplying effects of his ability to space the floor and hit our big guys off the pick n' roll and curls. With a healthy Rip I think we've got a decent shot at beating the Heat, even if they're at full strength. Without him, I think a repeat of last year is the most likely outcome.
