I think we're gonna get him and yes, it will be great to see him prove the naysayers wrong.

We wouldn't be a contender. We'd be a playoff team.... maybe. That's not worth trading away assets.

Yes if we are sending Batum, then I agree. I think we can do it without using Batum.

I don't think we need to send Batum for him. Possibly E Will though.

Such a myopic way to build a team. We'd be in the same position we are in now in two years.

The reason we don't get ANYBODY is PA won't pay.

    It's that simple.

Bingo! I'd love to have Nash, if only for half a season, just to see how much better a real PG would make Aldridge and Batum (especially). The problem is, unless we also get rid of Nate at the same time, we may not know. And I DEFINITELY would not give up 23 year old Nic Batum for 38 year old Steve Nash.

Wow. So this is what desperation "sounds" like? Fuck, it's been awhile, I'd kind of forgotten.

Nash makes Gortat look like a borderline all-star. He's also made players like Jared Dudley and Channing Frye relevant. All those guys are assisted on over 80% of their jumpers.

I think Nash could make Wes look really good as well on cuts to the basket.

Fuck this team needs a PG badly.

Yeah Nate would probably start Crawford at pg for 15 games and say that he wants to wait until Nash learns his advanced play book. You know the give it to a pg and iso until the shot clock goes to 4 and force a shot with 13 defenders around you.

id love nash but i just want this season to be over. that timberwolves game was the straw that broke the camels back for me. lets use our lotto pick and capspace to make lopsided trades in the off season (even mathews if needed) to shore up our center problem and our pg problem. After the trade deadline itlll be intresting to see what teams are going to be in such need of capspace theyll let go of promising talent to rid themselves of bad contracts

Some of those lopsided trades could also be available at the trade deadline for some of our expiring contracts. I'm sure our GM is all over it. Oh wait...

The management must make a deal. If it isn't Nash or Rondo; it's gotta be another PG that can actually hit the outside shot and not turn the ball over. The Blazers will lose their fanbase (Well ticket sales); if they don't make a change. It's not about salvaging the season to make a run in the playoffs. It's salvaging the season to keep the Blazer fans excited.
