Can we just shut the fuck up about Faried? Do you honestly think he'd be getting minutes on the Blazers? So you'd take Reggie Evans over Russell Westbrook?
I've been watching the games. They aren't doing too much different. Look at the possessions. Melo is getting his "black hole" ISO's. What good is a PG when you have a player that needs the ball?
Thank god. People were ridiculous about him. If anyone ever said he wasnt the next jordan people would call you a racist it was unbelievable. The guy put together good games, but its no different than flip murray for the sonics when ray allen was hurt
Could you imagine if OKC actually traded Westbrook for Rondo? I think that would be a major upgrade, IMO.
Yeah, Agreed. He's back to being option #3 now instead of #1. He's still better than Felton. LOL I'd trade for him in a heartbeat.
Yeah Rondo would work better facilitating Durant and Westbrook can be the man in Boston (something he is battling with). And to top it off, neither team really gets hurt defensively.
No we can't, it's part of the grieving process. Yes, he would be getting minutes, Kurt Thomas cannot rebound on the level we need. stupid, stupid, stupid If we had Andrea Miller, Faried, possibly Rudy right now it would be a completely different picture. MGMT FAIL.
Bigtime. With Chad and Larry's lack of common sense I fear that we're about to make a stupid trade and take on Ridnour and his contract. He is NOT worth $4m of our cap this summer.
The Celtics look so old. Philly is runnin' them. The Boston bench needs an IV drip and oxygen tanks with that roster.
Makes me really think there gonna try and deal Rondo for a top 5 lottery pick and Pierce to a contender for a young piece and picks. Rondo is great but how good would he be without anyone there to play off of him?
I agree Kurt Thomas isn't much of a rebounder, but that doesn't mean Faried would be getting minutes. Felton can't shoot, but that doesn't mean Nolan's getting minutes. THE ONLY REASON FARIED IS GETTING MINUTES IS BECAUSE OF A BUNCH OF INJURIES. Like I said, Denver KNEW what he could do. But they played him ZERO minutes when they had all their guys. Why? Because he's not as good as the people in front of him. What's good about him is his "motor" - he plays hard. In fact "he does everything hard." You know who said that about him? Nate McMillan. When they brought him in to visit in Portland. So that was well-known. Also well known: he's not especially talented. Yes, he's putting up good numbers now because he's getting minutes. But comparing those numbers to Aldridge's is laughable: Denver play an up-and-down game that suits players like that to the ground. Put him in a grind-it-out game and he's ineffective. Do you honestly think a double-team would be coming every time he got the ball in the low post? Well, it wouldn't arise, because he wouldn't GET the ball in the low post. First of all, 'Dre punches you in the face for calling him "Andrea". Second, Rudy is GONE. And anyway, he's constantly injured this season. Third, you really think "it" would be a "completely different picture"? Apart from Dre, these are not game changers. These are bit players. You know what would've made it a different picture? If Brandon Roy's and Greg Oden's knees weren't made of play-doh. THAT'S worth grieving over.
