Washington- Nah, he'd have to play Eli twice. Jets- Nah, doesnt want to share the city with Eli. Seattle- uh doubt he wants to go up to the corner. Miami- Likely Houston- I think they like Schaub. Arizona- Possibly. Kansas City- Likely. My darkhorse- Tennessee.
I'm sure Tennessee is all for Peyton Manning when they have Hasselbeck already in the veteran role and Jake Locker waiting to get in
Yes really He's there to hold the clipboard and help guide Locker through his first season as a starter. Locker is the future in Tennessee right now. Adding Peyton to that wouldn't really make sense.
You get Manning for 2 or 3 years and then hand it over to Locker. I'm starting to think he's going to Seattle though. Easy division, the possibility of playing with Reggie Wayne, a power running game and a vastly improved offensive line. I'm not a Seahawks fan either.
One of the best and most physical defenses too. Them and the Niners are going to have it out next year.
Manning already has a house in Miami. Reggie Wayne will accompany him because he played for The U. Jeff Saturday will probably go as well just to make an already solid O-Line even better and bring even more comfort to Manning. B-Marsh is arguably the most athletic player in the NFL and beyond that Manning has made stars out of guys like Austin Collie and Pierre Garcon. He doesn't necessarily need elite WR's. Give him a good O-Line and an offensive coordinator that will stay out of the way and he's good. He's not going to Seattle (I'm a Hawks fan): Weather. NFC team. He's not going to Arizona: AZ has too much cash tied up in Kolb. Perfect fit for Manning though. He's not going to the Jets: Rex Ryan is not a coach Manning would jive with, plus the Eli factor in NY He's not going to the Redskins: Eli factor, and Manning himself said he would like to stay in the AFC The only teams other than Miami I could see Manning going to are Houston and Denver. Manning to Denver would give Elway and Co. a fantastic excuse to rid themselves of the Tebow bullshit we all know they hate. Houston has the "dome" environment, elite WR, elite RB, top 10 defense, and if you think Manning is "above" sticking it to the Colts, you're nuts.
I think the niners should grab him too, but harbaugh has a mancrush on alex and thinks he is already of the brady, manning caliber lol pretty funny right
Looks like it's Denver Vs. The Cardinals. Since the NFC West and AFC West would probably be the easiest divisions for him to win (not including the NFC East with little bro, or rejoining the AFC South with Indy in the same division), It's a good move for him.
Niners are in the hunt! http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7696945/san-francisco-49ers-worked-peyton-manning-week-sources-say
You know, most people are saying Denver are the leaders in the clubhouse, but I'm feeling Tennessee right now. They offered him a "contract for life." As in, he would slide from QB to front office immediately. He played college in the state (though knoxville is about 3 hours from nashville), and he would be able to stick it to the Colts. Tennessee is beginning to make a ton of sense.
The Niners clearly look like a complete team, with a developing QB. If Manning could regain his form and go there that looks like a pretty sweet situation.
I hear the Titans are even going to give Peyton and his dad minority ownership in the team and have all transactions approved by him. They're going all out. I hear Peyton and Jeff Saturday are a package deal, too. Kenny Britt is a helluva WR to throw to. I don't know how he doesn't go to Tennessee.
But would going to Tennessee get him to the SB? If you put Peyton on the Niners, I'm thinking it's pretty much a sure thing. He'd have Frank Gore, Vernon Davis, Michael Crabtree, and Randy Moss. That's a pretty explosive offense right there.
Moss is an unknown (coming from a huge Moss fan). I think the Manningham signing was definitely a Manning play, to try to get him to sign. Gore scares me because of past injuries. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. If Manning signs with Denver, and Smith goes to Miami, SF is going to have a tough time with no proven QB next year. If Manning signs with Tennessee, SF gets Hasslebeck most likely. Or SF could very well end up with Manning.
