but this is pretty much the limit to my interest in this team. Someone wake me when these guys have some dignity, or they fire the coach or something. I can't be a fan of mediocrity. Scratch that, I won't be. Till then all.
I'll always post here and watch the games. However, I wont attend another game at the RG as long as Chad and Larry are still connected to the team. They will only prolong this.
Just do what I do.... not watch the games, post on here to bug mags and kingspeed, and make up crazy trade ideas!
How can you not watch and support your favorite team regardless of how they are playing? Honestly curious. Thru think and thin......
You guys aren't just dying to watch Williams, Babbitt, and N. Smith's progression over the rest of the year?
Yeah, but that will only encourage Chad and Larry to go about without a true plan in place and selecting second round talent in the first round.
Because working in sports killed my passion many moons ago, so if I don't feel like watching, I don't watch.
I'm perfectly fine supporting a bad team that is young and plays hard. If it's filled with veterans who all plan on leaving after the year, and are clearly dogging it, why should I care? How else will management realize that they need to make some drastic changes?
don't forget the all important new mascot! for me a majority of the downturn of this season boils down to Miller > Felton. I was a big fan of Andre prior to him becoming a Blazer, and was not happy at all when he was moved for Ray. I started posting a lot less afterwords because I couldn't find a silver lining and didn't want spend my free time bitching on-line. The current Blazers don't have a lot of gifted passers who make their teammates better, so the PG has to be the facilitator who gets the ball to scorers in their spots... RF has never done that at a level that wins in the league. Mix in the worst shooting % of his career and here we are hopefully whoever pushed that move through is out of the decision making loop. They've a lot of expirings so they should have the ability to push for new talent. It should be an interesting offseason STOMP
As BBert said, this is not mediocrity. Minnesota is mediocre. The Celtics, gasp, are mediocre. We're horrible. Perhaps you haven't heard about Williams' shoulder.
Actually, yes, I'd love to watch the second five get more minutes. Too bad Nate isn't interested in developing his bench players.
