Pure conjecture here, but it seemed odd that Felton would go back to the starting line-up. Is it out of the question to think that the Vulcans told Nate that Felton was going to start, and at that point, the players knew that Nate was no longer in charge?

That would explain a lot, because since that move, nothing has really changed in terms of team performance, and there is a complete lack of effort on many nights. I think Nate is being "KP'd" or "Cho'd" by the same idiots in Seattle who don't want to be banished from Paul Allen's dinner table.

Bottom line, I don't think it makes a lick of difference whether it's Felton or Crawford who starts at the PG spot. Neither one of them has a clue of how to get an offense going. I don't think Crawford dribbles the ball off of his foot as much as Felton, so he does have that going for him.

My opinion is that Nate gets very little interference (if any at all) about who to play and how to play whom. Nate has too much backbone to put up with that crap.

Why? He's our only PG, that's not a rookie.

Or maybe it's a trade value thing? They're hoping he has a few good games leading up to the deadline.

Considering our current state at PG, could it do any more damage at this point to start N. Smith and see how he performs.

I'd rather see Craig Smith starting at PG than Raymond Felton. In fact, it would be hard to tell them apart (Smith is the taller and thinner of the two) and the results would, no doubt, be the same.

If Craig Smith is the Rhino, what's that make Ray Felton; the Hippo?

Your funniest post ever, Boob. Small sample over the years, of course, but pretty good.

Felton and Crawford both had very good games against the abysmal Wiz. Maybe they were told there was a possible trade, so if they want out of town they needed to show up and improve their value. Just a thought. Or maybe a dream.
