Doesn't work cap wise. I tried, but I think it has something to do with Augustin's rookie contract. I don't know.

    Meh

Let's get Nash here during the offseason, and all of a sudden the entire roster looks a whole lot better.

They've already got cap space if they hang onto Augustin. The deal I proposed would take Augustin off the books now and would give them a pick plus a TPE.

DJs Augustin and White for Crawford looks good to me.

Both DJs are on expiring contracts which means that both essentially turn into 1/3 season tryouts.

White is still young and had some potential coming into the league and I feel like he could learn a lot from Kurt Thomas and Camby.

Worst case scenario, we get a "free" look at 2 young Free Agents-to-be

We can still get Nash this off-season and have Augustin too.

Maggette has 23 assists in 20 games. He would be perfect in Nate's offense

I don't think management would do that deal anyway. They need flexibility for the new GM to want to come to Portland. I didn't realize that we could just take back a White or Najera and it works.

I really hope this trade rumor of augustin for @JCrossover isn't true. Crawford deserves better than that.

    My response to Jamal. :D

@JCrossover don't worry buddy. I have a feeling that Cho knows this too and has a flip to NY or something. Still love you!

Quick someone tweet Paul Allen and tell him to hurry on this deal. Crawford is in "sulk mode" again!

I think it may start a big domino effect. Crawford traded, we get a PG, then we trade Wallace and Felton. I think we may come out on top in the end. This looks very interesting.

Also, what if Cho has another deal in place? What if this deal starts another with, let's say NY and they get Melo? I know it's a stretch but crazier things have happened.

I don't know that we'd end up liking this. Augustin is tiny and would be a lot easier to push around on D than Felton (those cupcakes are good for something). Also he clearly likes to jack up the threes, so if we lost Crawford AND Felton we'd have NO penetrators. Just like when we had Blake and everyone bitched and moaned.

I'm a Crawford fan so this won't sit real well with me. Augustin is ok, he's not a game changer and it will confuse the PG rotation considerably. I see nate playing Felton as a SG if this happens, which will suck balls.

Augustin is not a great setup guy either. I like him more than felton, but the talent level of both is similar
