Somewhere, a guy name Lin is asking, "Does that really happen?"

The answer: Yes. Gotta love the hype these guys get. Everyone eventually jumps off the bandwagon as quickly as they got on. Of course, I do believe in Lin's case that Melo hinders his performance.

I dunno what the league figured out, or how he "stopped being amazing", but he has increased his PER each year in the league. Increased his TS%, eFG%, increased his WS per 48, and decreased his TO percentage. Seems like he is slowly making himself better in a lot of advanced statistics.

    Chris Haynes is garbage:

ChrisBHaynes: Couple of wks ago, if you asked me who'd be gone first, would have said Raymond Felton. After what I'm hearing now, I say Jamal Crawford. [via Twitter].

Really Chris? Because, a deal takes two to tango (or more). Nobody wants Felton (except for his expiring cap space). Crawford is better, and is likely to create cap space as well.

He definitely isn't dropping 50 point games though, and that's what I meant.

Mike Tokito doesn't think any major moves will happen. Said the Luke deal would have been good, but died when Rubio went out. I guess he said they are in search of a back-up PG.

BACK UP?!?!?! Fuck having Felton our starter! I'm gonna shit!

KBergCBS: The Blazers and Clips are discussing a deal that would send Jamal Crawford to L.A. for Eric Bledsoe and Ryan Gomes, sources say. [via Twitter]

Because most of the time a point guard is (or should be) "shooter of last resort." Often they aren't being set up or they are trying to score at the end of the clock. That's why guys like Paul and Nash are so remarkable for their shooting efficiency

Yes, please on Bledsoe! Gomes.... is headed for Blakey territory. Picked up twice by Portland only to be let go.

Ahhh but what about years ago? I mean Stockton, Payton, Anderson, Stickland and so many more all shot extremely well.

Gomes makes 4 million next year. Not sure why we'd grab him, we likely won't play him.

As a rule though, most point guards shoot around 40% from the field ... if they're exceptional then they usually become all-stars or hall-of-famers like some of the guys on your list.

insurance? Basically we could get our starting PG of the future for only 1.6 mil per. That's pretty damn good. The other 4 mil is just to make the deal pass. Could we have future picks? Maybe?
