That would be significantly better. Significantly.

That sounds so much better that I don't believe it could be true. I don't think Minnesota would trade us Ridnour for Crawford; they need a true point with Rubio out; why would they mess up their chemistry with a trade like that? And what is Minnesota getting back from LA for Beasley?

Does Rid make us better? If we move Crawford and fire Nate, can this team still make the playoffs? Felton needs to go too.

I'll take Ridnour and a pick, for sure. And then really.. just cut Felton. He has no value. Take it and run. Can't believe Ridnour is already 31 though.. damn.

Well, OK, I guess that Minnesota would be getting a trade exception back, has Beasley's value fallen that much? And why would LA want to give their pick to Portland; to persuade Portland to trade Crawford for Ridnour!!!?? Must be something else here.

If LA can't get Sessions, maybe they are still interested in Felton; we are probably undervaluing him, I suppose that if he is in shape and with a new team he could be an average point guard. So maybe he would be part of this?

I think it was more that the Lakers had Beasley going for them for there TE plus there pick but that was put on hold while Minn tried to turn Beasley into a 2 guard. When they couldn't do that they enlisted the help of us to get them Jamaal crawford and tried to offer us blake and a pick, ,we refused because we didn't want blake so we stalled asking for 2 picks or no deal and Minn decided to give us Rid instead of a pick of theres.
Now I may have read to much into that since the trade isn't official yet.

This is crazy. Jamal is in Chicago with us. Has to be weird trying to fall asleep wondering who he'll be playing for tomorrow when he wakes up.

I'd try to deal Felton to NY where he still has value.... maybe get a pick or something.

By the way, I just saw that Jarrod Rudolph (?) is tweeting he has just interviewed Howard and he will definitely not be opting out of his contract. I would be talking to New Jersey right now about Deron Williams; since they must realize now he is as good as gone for nothing. Hope no one in Blazer's management is sleeping tonight!

I dont' think we could beat some offers for Deron. Better make anything but Aldridge available.

There was talk that they wanted him back... but that was before Linsanity and before D'Antoni was fired.

I agree, if we can be assured by him that what remains will be enough to make him want to sign longterm with us.

I don't see why MN does this.

It makes no sense with Rubio going down. We all know how Crawford looks as a PG, a position he's not too fond of.

They either want to trade Beasley this badly or they feel JJ Barea can fill in.

I wonder if in that three way trade that Felton could go to LA and Blake to Minnesota, (to make up for the loss of Ridnour). I don't know how to use the trade exception on tradechecker so don't know if that would work.
