    Hire a mother fucking GM. And not just any GM, a GOOD GM who knows how to run a draft, make quality trades, and isn't a complete yes man.

    After we get the GM, then we talk about coaches, but we need to be looking for a GM right now so he can be in place well before the draft. I'm not thrilled at the idea of our current front office making our picks for us.

    You're off to a great start Paul, now go get us someone who can transition this team into the next phase! :clap:

    This all seems like it could be a run up to PA selling the team. Payroll cut for max flexibility. No coach. No GM.

    New owner gets to pick his GM. New Gm gets to pick a new coach. The three of them get to use the draft picks and try to sign a FA to make their mark in the first year they own the team.

    I really wouldn't be opposed to that as long as the owner is committed to the city of Portland.
