Workouts this year should be very interesting.

I'm warming up to Kendell Marshall as our target with our pick:

Marshall makes his teammates so much better. He's going to be great on a fast break team.

    Re: 2012 NBA Draft Prospects

Is it possible that Marshall is simply a great college PG who isn't athletic enough to be truly successful in the pros, but we are just so point-guard starved here that we are elevating him far above his actual ability?

Perhaps for some teams, but not for us. Isn't he yet another in a long line of combo guards? Sounds like DX basically has him pegged as another Bayless.

They also mention that his scoring is a result of necessity more than anything else. Not that he can't play PG.

I bet a lot of people said that about Andre Miller to... Hell, they still kind of do. I really like Marshall and would be thrilled if he was available for our lower of two picks!

The same things were said about Ricky Rubio too.

I'm so impressed with Davis. He's seemingly involved in every play. I would deal Aldridge for Davis in a split second.

Conversely, Terrence Jones has disappeared, and Peyton Siva is completely terrible.

    Re: 2012 NBA Draft Prospects

What's funny is that LMA averaged 15/9/2 blocks his 2nd year at Texas, and Davis averaged 15/10/3 blocks this year at Kentucky.

I remember wanting LMA more than any other player in that draft, and I feel the same way about Davis. Let's hope the ping pong balls are friendly again and the Blazers can have both of them!

Kidd-Gilchrist looks great, but he screams "tweener" at me.

Davis is actually averaging 5 blocks.

    Need more tankness!

    4.6, not 3, for Davis.

    Re: 2012 NBA Draft Prospects

Yeah, not sure what I was looking at. Also only 14 ppg, not 15.

Well, you catch my drift. I'd rather have both of them that just one of them. Davis is a defensive freak who needs to work on his offensive game, and LMA can play outside-inside to Davis' inside-out, which was always my dream for Oden and LMA.

GO was the last big man who was hyped so much in the tournament.
