    Also:
A Nate for SVG swap would be pretty cool for us.

The Blazers need to hire a coach that Deron Williams wants to play for. We need all the help we can get.

If we get one of D'Antoni, Van Gundy and Carlisle, I won't be upset. If we don't, I might be. Maybe we'll just wait out Thibodeau?

Although, is Van Gundy that great? Doesn't he do with Howard exactly what Hill did with Shaq back in the day? With exactly the same results?

SVG has outstanding winning percentages both regular season (.648) and post season (.573). I'll take him over a mediocre coach like Nate any day of the week. He's also gotten his team past the first round five of the six times he's coached in the playoffs (and that doesn't even include the Heat championship back in 2006 when Pat Riley rode in and stole the show).

I don't get all the intense Van Gundy Brothers love, but whatever. He's an improvement over Nate, I think.

Stan Van is definitely not a bad coach... I still wish we'd picked up Adelman last summer.

I don't really like SVG's offense. So reliant on threes. Hard to say if his offense is that way because he has so many shooters, or otherwise. I can't remember how he was in MIA with DWade back in the day before Riley took over.

I would rather have Jeff than Steve. Jeff seems to focus on defense and sets up a damn good half court offense. He's not afraid to run, but understands what it takes to win in the playoffs.

Coaching Dwyane Wade, Shaq, and Dwight Howard doesn't hurt a guy's coaching record. Let's not forget Shaq calling him out for panicking on the sidelines in big games.

Hell, the only year a Van Gundy team won a title, Stan got shit-canned 21 games into the season.

    Yeah, hire that guy.

If you don't have the players, it doesn't matter who the coach is in terms of making a run at a title. Although, as Van Gundy proved in Miami, a team with players can win a title when they get rid of the coach holding them back.

I think we have those players already. And if we get a playmaker wing, we could contend even next season.

You don't have to agree with me or be sarcastic about it. I think Aldridge, Batum, Matthews, and Flynn are good players. Add a free agent or two and you got a damn good rotation. Forgot about vanilla as well as a nice backup big.

I'd rather hire Mike Budenholzer from San Antonio. He started off as the team’s video coordinator so you know he's going to be good at coaching.

Dude all we need is a Allstar playmaker and we can contend. Just look at the games whn Jamal actually has a solid game? If he was consistent we would be in the hunt for the top seed. We just don't have that playmaker like Roy that can carry a team in the 4th from the perimeter. Also getting to te line is a plus.

As much as I want to add Deron Williams to this team, what has he done for NJ?
