Here is what I think, with the new CBA being a factor.

Assuming that the pipe dream that is D-Will fails and that we can get Dragic for 7-8 mil, we take that and run. The more I see of him and the more I think about it the more I like the idea of Dragic.

Everybody around here is falling in love with this Dragic guy......... reminds me of the love affair with Calderon.

Dragic ain't that bad. And in all honesty, I think adding pieces like Dragic and Josh Smith would be a perfect addition. Then we could try and get Maxiell from Detroit. Offer him around 10 mil PER? Then we would still have Babbitt and the other players like Hickson, E Will and Batum still on this squad.

If Calderon was a 7-8 mil per player, I would fall in love with him too!

I just don't get hot or cold on a player quickly. I guess I need a long run of good play to be impressed. He's been playing well for what, a month?

No he has been playing "VERY WELL" for a month. Like 22 PER good. But for the most part, he's a good player. Like a 17 PER player

I agree. I remember a few months ago guys were saying to give lin whatever he wanted. While dragic is a good player, im not willing to commit 8 mil a year to him. He could be good, but he could end up being a role player. Tying up 8 mil a yr for four or so yrs, the signing batum to a 9 mil a yr deal could make it difficult for us to compete in the future if all those guys end up are role players

I have a feeling veteran players like KG, Ray Allen and Andre Miller will get big pay cuts because the teams with lots of cap will be in the rebuilding process. Some of those guys will go play for the mid-level and chase a ring next season.

Nash will be the exception since he's marketable PG playing some great ball lately.

I'd be shocked if Jeff Green gets anything close to the MLE after heart surgery and really mediocre stint away from OKC.

he's really playing well and he gets an audition tonight, 7-8 mil is fair given what he is doin, I just hope someone does not overpay big time like some fear other teams might do with batum. The tug of war with a lot of teams with a lot of capspace vs the stiffer tax panalties son beginning with the new CBA will be interesting.
