Agreed about Faried. Here's another big mistake we made: http://www.insidehoops.com/blog/?p=9658 "Nets sign guard Armon Johnson to 10-day contract"
Minnetanka doesn't have their own pick. Adelman just isn't a very good coach, unless he's trying to put the Blazers lower than the Tankerwolves' pick, which goes to New Orleans.
I had a classic S2 meltdown when we drafted Smith over Faried. I lobbied for the Manimal for a good two months before the draft and even more so on draft day. It was a total McMillan pick. And I blame Buchanan for going with it.
Nate is also responsible for signing Crawford, trading for Felton and trading away Wallace and Camby. All Nate moves. In fact if the this years draft doesn't work out, still close enough in time to blame Nate.
No, but he was responsible for the drafting of Tareun Green and his 3 or 4 wins he contributed to us...
What an absoulute waste of a second round draft pick . . . how did this team even make the playoffs with Nate around?
Dwyane Wade wants to get paid this summer to play for the U.S. in the Olympics. Apparently the millions he makes with the Heat aren't enough for him. http://espn.go.com/nba/truehoop/miamiheat/story/_/id/7801502/nba-olympians-compensated
it's taxing, you get no rest. Sure. Then just don't do it. Nothing wrong with declining to get rest, IMO. Especially someone like him, as he gets older.
Absolutely correct. Babbitt was too, since he was rated as top shooter in the draft and McMillan was crying for shooters. Then he wouldn't play the rookies as usual. He ruined young players by steering them from their talents into thinking about defense too much.

This is supposedly what Bill Simmons said in a recent article Good thing they chose Wallace, who is ironically probably more broken down than Pierce.
