You know, I do wonder if treating Oden with multiple microfracture surgeries wasn't a bit like troubleshooting your computer by restarting the PC every time something went wrong.

After reading the whole thing, it's really depressing. This guy may be overstating what he is able to do as far as preventing a player from being injured but he was clearly spot-on with his predictions of risk and it's amazing that the Portland medical staff was not open to listening. Also amazing that Pritchard and Penn seemed to ignore the advice of the guy they brought in.

This guy says Roy could come back with proper treatment, but he has no meniscus left in either knee. So that makes me wonder if he really knows what he's talking about. Joel landed right on his knee...so his injury was not obviously due to imbalances. And Greg sustained most of his injuries while not even playing...so I find it hard to believe that things would be much better if they had "only listened to Zig". This guy could just be after publicity for himself.

    Who is Zig Ziegler?

His blog has about 6 posts in the past year. Is that a take off from Zig Ziglar, that motivational speaker? There are no recent Google hits for a Zig Ziegler who works in sports medicine, other than bragging about Greg Oden.

Seems like a hoax to me.

"Ziegler" is actually MIXUM, trolling Blazer fans one more time. I have evidence somewhere on my blog.

That's the problem. Oden was a Microsoft product.

Even if that picture did suggest Macrosoft.

Thanks for that link. Looks like the guy is sketchy as hell. I'm not going to believe a word he says, other than he might have been contacted by Tom Penn.

3 times, his partners have sold investments in his company without registering with the state (to follow certain practices in accounting and disclosure). But as he says, this doesn't mean that his technology (computerized motion sensors attached to the body, and plotting the movements) is bad.

Clinton burst his wad all over an intern, but I'd sure as hell rather have him in office than Obama right now.

S2 had this well before Jaynes.

    Rep points for Fez.

It sounds like you'd be an idiot to take financial advice from this Ziegler character, but I'm not sure what his potentially shady or sloppy dealings with the financial side of his company has to do with his ability to evaluate biomechanics. The proof is in the pudding as they say and after 3 pretty major lower extremity issues with Oden, Roy and now Aldridge ... well maybe there's something here?

Sly is jealous of my beautiful brown eyes so he tried to steal the limelight for himself.
