Maybe we should be more excited about Lillard (final year college numbers):

    Lillard (24.5 pts, 5.1 reb, 4.0 asst) 6'2" 185 lbs.
    Porter (19.7 pts, 5.2 reb, 4.2 asst) 6'3" 195 lbs.

Both were star players at small schools. Maybe he wouldn't be so bad. Lillard went to the line 8/game, Porter 5/game, and Lillard shot better from the FT line.

Porter out assisted him as a PF. No thank you. Lillard is a chucker

Not so fast. Porter took 19 shots per game during that time. Lillard . . . . . (wait for it) . . . 15/game. Who's the chucker?

25 pts/g based on 15 shots/game is pretty good ratio. I would take that any day.

More shots doesn't mean chucker. While I never saw Porter play in college, I have seen Lillard play quite a few times, and he is a chucker. Aldridge and E Will both got up more shots per 36 minutes than Crawford did, but no one would argue who the biggest chucker of the three is

Since Porter shot almost 59% for his college career; maybe he should have shot even more. And, also, he played point guard in his final year at Stevens Point so I think it's possible to compare the two, but those statistics don't tell how efficient a scorer Porter was.

If a guy hits >50% from the field and >40% from the arc, he can chuck all he wants. If Crawford made 52% of his shots nobody would be complaining.

^ Exactly. If a guy shoots a good percentage from where he's chucking from. By all means, be a chucker!

    Bump.

Since we are all tooting our own horns.

But, it looks like Nik was the first to call out Lillard as a desired draft choice.
