    Manu has a career PER of 21.8, with a 24.1 this season. Harden has one year at 21.5ish, with a 14.4 and 16.something his other two year. With that, Manu doesn't even have a max contract.

    And Manu's first two years, he was at 14 and 18, but was 25 as a rookie.

    wtf? i am reading the thread. Derr. what's that? can you not have a discussion without stupid shit like that?

    Manu was initially on a 2 year contract. After his second season, at 27 years old, he was offered a 6 year, 52 million dollar deal. he had shown nothing to be worth anywhere near a max deal(18.7 PER his second season). He likely could have come close to a max deal had he not started his career at 25 here, instead starting at 20 like Harden.

    Meaning SAS made a decision on Manu, he wasn't a RFA, and he accepted a contract.

    You do realize there are greater cap restrictions now, right? I find comparing Harden to Ginobli a decent comparison, but you're obviously not taking the cap into consideration. If you're Presti, you're willing to trade Westbrook this summer and extend Harden to a max deal. That's your position, right?
