This article can do nothing but enhance our chances of landing those awesome elite FA's Maybe they should focus hard on foreigners?
I am sure bashing the hell out of POR medical staff will do wonders for signing free agents..... It is gotten to the point now, where even if you think the medical staff is good an is not the problem...you almost have to let them go just based on the perception.... Seeing the words "worst in the NBA" to describe your medical staff....just lingers out there...takes on a life of its own and becomes the perception.... They have to aggressively address it and make whoelsale changes....
That was the number one thing I got from this article. I had my suspicions, but this no doubt confirmed it.
<shakes head> Waaaaaayyyyy too fucking soon. No wonder he hates Portland - "fans" like you! (I'd like to laugh at that, but I can't.)
It's too bad teams don't make players go through psych evaluations before they select them over another can't miss prospect.....er wait?
Seriously, he checks into a hotel room on the 8th floor with a blind dog. What did he think would happen? I feel really bad for Greg and wish him the best but that wasn't the smartest decision with Charles Barkley McLovin.
Yeah, no shit. Which is the reason I said I wanted to laugh. As a dog-lover, such a tragedy. But I mean, what's any dog, let alone a blind dog, doing chilling on a balcony with open rails? Derrrr...
I really feel for the guy. And it hurts all the more that he's the kind of person I could really love to root for. I know that there are plenty of people that can root for players that they know are total assholes just because they're good at basketball, but I can't do that. Greg is clearly smart and funny and nerdy, and should've been a perfect fit. Sigh. Sucks about his dog and his cousin, too. I hope he finds happiness somewhere. But it's pretty clear that if some miracle (nanobot surgery?) were to happen and he could play basketball again, he would never consider signing in Portland. And I wonder what the front office thinks of this:
