Canzano has groomed PapaG as his replacement. Every police state needs a widely-hated moral compass.

My problem is not Papa g's supposed moral compass.

The news story he cites, which I also read, does NOT specify that the search was for child porn. In fact it explicitly states the police did not give information. The fact that this unit deals with sex crimes related to children sure doesn't look good. But no exact information was given. That did not stop Papa G from saying the home was searched for child porn.

That's my problem. Making up facts not in evidence. Like I said, it doesn't look good and it's NOT a joke, but we really don't know exactly what they were looking for or why.

OK, if I were Anderson I'd stash several million dollars in assets NOW. If there's anything to this he may see jail time, probably get sued into oblivion. He'll need some cash when he gets out of prison.

LOL, I noticed the same thing. Didn't say much about it, because in other articles, they made a few more-specific allusions, but who knows how credible they are.

But it sure is nice to see that I'm not the only one who notices how much PapaG stretches things.

It's reasonable to assume from what the article says that he's involved in child porn or was stalking children on-line in chat rooms. Or something along those lines.

Reading between the lines, yes, I made the same assumption as PapaG.

I wouldn't present it as fact as if the article actually stated that's what they're investigating Bird Man for, though. Because the article doesn't actually say what they're searching for.

Well, the title is misleading, granted.

And sly's joke made me chuckle. No, child abuse is not funny, but jokes often offend the senses to be funny.

People are just wound too tight (Need evidence? Review a current thread in the OT Forum).

I don't think anyone here advocates for child abuse, and not all of the jokes here are funny, but I think most of us can understand the offensive jokes are coming from a place that the deliverer is trying to make a joke.

Shit, if I really thought Sly was a sick bastard.... And I continued to frequent this board.... that would be on me for subjecting myself to Sly's sick thoughts.

What I'm saying.... is that I'm a bad person for subjecting myself to Sly's sick thoughts.

That Mark Twain fellow was the one who said if you could cross man with cat it would improve man and degrade cat. I agree. So do my cats.
