Refuses to lose? Tell that to Philly....

Apparently his hustle, attitude and inspiration wasn't enough to carry his team past Philly....

Pretty good player, plays position of need (center), yes, he is a good hustle\imspirational player...has injury concerns...is overpaid...

Worth the 11th pick (again, POR would also have to give up almost all of its cap space as well...goodbye Dragic)...no way you trade the 6th pick for him....

Core players dumped, all we're the Bulls' leading scorer the year they were dumped, too.

    Jalen Rose
    Jamal Crawford
    Eddie Curry
    Ben Gordon

Chandler was traded for PJ Brown's expiring contract the day they signed Ben Wallace as a FA.

The day Paxson became GM, he declared Curry and Chandler the cornerstones of the franchise. Along with Crawford, they were the 3 Cs.

We have 20m if we renounce Hickson, giving a pick away is another 2 to 3 million off the top, you think Dragic will cost over 10m? If so I don't want him.

I'm guessing $8.5 million or so. It's a risk, but one you have to take for the possibility of a franchise PG.

The Bulls might do Hickson and the 2 picks for Noah.

I don't consider the picks after #4 sure things at all, so I'm not sure they would be that valuable; maybe take back Chicago's late first round pick. I agree with another poster that we should still have enough money to sign Dragic. You make some good points though and I respect your opinion. Maybe it wasn't your intention, but I don't feel like you respected mine.

Well, he just lost in 6 games.

I'll also point out that his teammates had so much affection for him that they voted him to be suspended from the team for 2 games back in 2008.

Trading lottery picks for him seems foolish to me, especially at his money.

Haha! That's a joke, right? How about the Blazers add LMA to the mix?

He was key in getting the Bulls the best record in the NBA with Rose injured for large chunks of the season.

I'm not a huge fan of Noah, but he's a top 5 center entering the prime of his career. Seems like a reasonable trade if we offered the picks and cap relief for him.

Good points, but I just don't think he's worth two lottery picks and his contract. I just don't see him as being a huge difference-maker. I'd rather keep the picks, try and hit in the draft, and sign Goran Dragic.

    No disrespect intended.....

I think this draft is stronger than it is getting credit for...I'd rather see POR take 2 swings at getting that #2/#3 maybe even #1 type of guy....They are here in this draft...This team needs top end talent in the worst way...LA is probably better off as a #2, He may not have that luxury In POR, where unless POR strikes gold he will be asked to be the #1....

Noah is a good player, but not a guy you rely on as a #2 (Westbrook\Wade\Pierce\Bynum) or #3 (Harden\Bosh\Allen\Gasol) type of player....

They HAVE TO take thier swings in the draft...high ceiling guys, hope you hit on one of them...Dragic\Hill are nice young players that you hope contiune to progress and get a little better but probably are what they are...good starting caliber player, but not a star....You can get those guys in free agency....Same goes for Batum, he most likely is what he is at this point...a good starting player not a star...which is fine...even overpaying is fine...as long as you can add a guy like Dragic\Hill in free agency maybe an underated big as well BEFORE you resign him...

You bring Freeland over....maybe Claver or Diebler....then you use both draft picks on some high upside guys...hope you did your homework and you hit on one of them...but they are cost controlled for a few years meaning your cap space should be ok even with paying LA, Batum and Dragic\Hill big bucks....

Beal\Lamb\Rivers\P.Jones\Barnes\Wroten\Waiters all these guys have some big time ceiling potential IMO....

He's an Ibaka type of player with better offense. I still think he's a nice option if available.

I'm not against building via the draft, but it's going to be a long process that will take 2-3 seasons to see if anything pans out. I'm not sure if the ownership and the casual fan has the stomach for that.

Not a #2 or 3 SCORER, no. but half of the game is played on the other end of the court. How important was Tyson Chandler to Dallas' title run last season? Nobody would say he's a #2 or #3 guy on the team...as a scoring option. but he was arguably the 2nd most important player on that team. But people only pay attention to the offensive side of the ball when discussing important players on the team.

We are a team not even close to contending. With this move they are still without a real go-to player.

We need to bring in young talent -- Noah is 27, not exactly young.

The Bulls would be looking for cap relief if they were to give up Noah. Thus the two picks turn into two rookie scale deals instead of Noah's vet deal. To take anyone back near Noah's pay doesn't solve the bulls' problem.

I replied to a post about the Blazers cutting Hickson loose to free up cap space to further deal after Noah would take a chunk out of your cap space.

In that light, maybe the bulls would do a S&T involving Hickson, too. Or maybe they want no part of the contract.

    Throw in Mirotic....

I'd feel better about trading two high picks if we got Mirotic apart of the deal.

Like Cousins, he's one player I'm really high on.

I think the bulls are really high on Mirotic. Not sure they'd deal him as a sweetener to dump Noah for picks.

It's not exactly 'dumping' him when the picks are #6 and #11 (likely)

Really? Rose is going to miss most if not all of next season? I thought turn around on an torn ACL was 6-9 months.

Ouch this injury is devastaing for the Bulls. #1 seed in the playoffs gone and potentially all next year. Wow.
