of course, if we were interested in Sloan, and expressed any interest, you'd be the first one crying because it'd be backwards to hire the coach before the gm.

also, the interest expressed is because someone local asked him. So it isn't really him finding an avenue to express interest. The issue is more we have had an open spot for 68 days, and none of our media members have asked Sloan what he thinks of the PDX job.

Not sure why you are directing this at me? I didn't use any green font.

I think Sloan would have been a bad hire here

No really. I would not have been a fan of Sloan being hired here. I think the way to go is young blood like Mike Malone or if someone older, someone like Laimbeer who has had no prior NBA head coaching experience

If Sloan has interest in coaching Orlando because of Howard... well Howard still wants to get traded. So Orlando now has no GM, no coach, and their superstar still wants out.

Sloan has interest in two teams: The Magic and.....(wait for it).....

    Chris Tomasson ‏@christomasson
Jerry Sloan said he has interest in Bobcats job despite the fact they’re rebuilding: “It’s not always about starting at the top,’’ he said.

    OUCH.

How about this. When the Blazers take a step in the positive direction, so will my posts?

they fired Nate. Traded away two of our older players in Camby and Wallace for nothing but draft picks and flyers on young players but you've still been bitching the whole second half. So I call bullshit. Unless doing what you have been advocating them to do is not a step in the right direction.

And I was delightful. Now however, it is time to get a fucking GM.

I was not bitching about anything on the floor....except Felton and Crawford the entire second half of the season

    you were delighted. Not delightful.
Sure it's time. But even a small step in the right direction elicited nothing but an about time from you. So, again, I call bullshit.

No GM worth a shit will take the job, because the Vulcans run this show, and ask Cho how much he was able to get done without their meddling.

Well of course he can coach Orlando. All retired Americans move to Tampa/St. Petersburg or Palm Springs. His next coice is the Lakers or Clippers.
