Dude was taken 5th overall. He hasn't played up to that pick. UNC has actually had a lot of busts, but that's because they put out a lot of talent.
From last year: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=ys-rcs-schools_with_top_nba_players_062011 UNLV and Houston had a few good years, but then fell off the map.
I think recently Ty Lawson & Tyler Hansbrough have played better than their draft spots. So did Vince Carter (who was taken after scrubs like the Kandi man and LaFrentz).
Raps are supposedly interested in him if Lamb isn't still on the board at 8 (or lower if someone 9+ moves up).
Ford has Waiters going to us if we get 7. Not needs based, which I assume will be adjusted as it then has us taking Lamb at 11. I can't see a Waiters and Lamb draft happening.
So the real question here is if Waiters shows all the signs of being a successful NBA player, do you not draft him because of where he went to college? Unless something changes, I fully expect to see Waiters in a Blazers uniform!
so a career below 15 PER player at #5 is ok? well then....what are you trying to say again? that because flynn and wes johnson arent all stars, to never draft a cuse player ever again? seems logical
