Thx and interesting, Robinson's measurement will be a big deal for where he goes IMO, depending on who Sac would take at #5 out of Drummond-MKG-Robinson I'd be happy with the leftovers, especially as one would be a big.
and there are a lot of very good 4's in this draft, and s few with perhaps a good bit more upside but with perhaps higher risk, but if someone does not think their risk is very high I can see Robinson dropping a little bit (6-9?)
But that has been well known all year. His forte is finishing in transition, defense and attacking the rim. I can see Robinson falling. Seeing him next to Drummond I think he's 6'7"-ish.
who knows? he may not be falling at all, or when these GM's actually see his shooting in person they get more gun shy, most of this is all rumors and smokescreens anyway..
Keep in mind that they took Tristan Thompson #4 overall last year to quite a bit of surprise (ahead of Valanciunas, Biyombo, Knight). On the one hand you could think they're smokescreening, on the other you know they're not afraid to just draft their guy. And they don't want to have another LeBron situation where their franchise guy is trying to GTFO. Though it does seem a little nuts to take Barnes over MKG, and to pass on a potential beast C in Drummond if hes there. Doubt Sac passes on MKG though.
I would think in that scenario, Sacramento would be happy for MKG to fall. Perfect fit for them. A SF who will be effective on the floor without needing touches and taking them away from Cousins and then Evans
Speaking of potential surprise picks -- Chad Ford still maintains that Dion Waiters is still in play at #6 or #11. Btw, what S2 poster first brought this 'news' to the board? ::edit:: Here is the original thread: LINK

When do they take measurements? This will be important for Robinson. Can he make up for his lack of height with a 9'0" reach like Faried?
Main reason I don't do it is I think there's a chance you can get a better player at 6 I like Ibaka, but I think the Blazers have bigger needs (playmaking guards). I'm not sure Ibaka compliments Aldridge that well either. Both like that 15ft jumper.
IMO he is a perfect complement to Aldridge -- rebounds and an elite weak-side shotblocker. He's a young Theo Ratliff with a jumper. Definitely worth both picks.
