I was thinking about this a few days ago, and we've had quite a bit of history of moving around in the lotto.

In 2008: the difference between #13 (Brandon rush) + Ike diogu and #11 (Bayless) was Jack and McRoberts.
In 2006: the difference between #4 (Tyrus Thomas) and #2 (LA) was Viktor Khryapa.
In 2006: the difference between #7 (Foye) and #6 (BRoy) was $.
in 2005: the diffrence between #6 (Marty) and #3 (Deron) was pick #27 (Kleiza —> Jack).

    Maybe 6 + 11 for 2 is overpaying.

Lillard + PJlll is worth giving up for Beal/MKG.

    Quality > Quantity

Oh God. The Beal love. I just don't get it. I'd be slightly disappointed if we got him at 6. If we moved up to 2 to get him, I'd be supremely pissed.

    Totally agree!

But T-Rob would probably at least be entertaining off the court (if he ended up being mediocre on it).

Exactly. I like Beal more than a lot of people I know, but Fez takes it to another level. We get it. You like Beal better than anyone but Davis.

I'd take him at 3 after Davis and T-Rob, but it is NOT worth trading up for him. The difference is not that big between him and another other player going to be avaliable. With our roster in the shape it is, we need as much talent as possible.

Some people think that either Lillard or PJ3 could end up being better than either Beal or MKG.

So, Lillard+PJ3 may be better quality AND quantity.

Me too. He even thinks he's a 1/2 tweeter. He doesn't penetrate or pass well. At 6 I would be disappointed that he was our pick. Moving up for him would be like Nolan Smith all over again.

I question their eye for talent.

And considering how much love everyone else in the Top-6 has received today, there's a good chance that Beal could be around at No. 6. I'd rather take the chance and get Beal at No. 6 (and still have No. 11), than using both picks to move up and take Beal.

What do you like better about Beal over Lillard? He is younger and rebounded better. Anything else?

Fez can question people's analysis of the talent. I question Fez's management of the team (I trust Chad more than him). When you're a young team with a whole lotta holes to fill..... The talent in this draft is so equal, that it would not be wise to trade 6 and 11 to move up a few spots to draft a guy that has a decent chance of being around at 6 anyway. And if he's not? Then you go with the BPA at that point.

Drummond meeting with the wizards, cavs, bobcats, and kings. Met with the Blazers yesterday. Thinks his range is 2-5.

People keep asking about Perry Jones. He's an NBA Live creation. 6'11, built, freakishly athletic '3'?! That just sounds made up.

A pizza delivery guy I know thinks he would remind me of Uncle Cliffy a bit

One of the most impressive guys today from what I was told. RT @NYReign1247: What are they saying about Harkless?

Harkless is going to move up into the top 10, IMO

If he gets it he could be Uncle Cliffy ... I worry he's going to be more Anthony Randolph.
