Re: UFC 149: Faber vs. Barão (Jul/22) The following is a list of all the main card fighters who have pulled out of UFC 149 for one reason or another: Jose Aldo, Erik Koch, Thiago Alves, Yoshihiro Akiyama, Shogun Rua, Thiago Silva, Michael Bisping. Bibiano Fernandes wasn't scheduled to fight on the main card.
Re: UFC 149: Faber vs. Barão (Jul/22) Apparently Fernandes was never contracted to fight for the UFC. Somebody heard that they were negotiating and jumped the gun, and pretty much every outlet reported it as fact. Helwani says he's going to sign with OneFC.
Re: UFC 149: Faber vs. Barão (Jul/22) Oh hey are there any fights you're still looking forward to on UFC 149? Yeah, the Big Nog one? We'll now he's injured too, punk. This might be the most injury-cursed event ever. Shawn Jordan (who?) in for Big Nog.
Re: UFC 149: Faber vs. Barão (Jul/22) Jose Aldo, Erik Koch, Thiago Alves, Yoshihiro Akiyama, Shogun Rua, Thiago Silva, Michael Bisping, Big Nog. Unreal.
Re: UFC 149: Faber vs. Barão (Jul/22) Conspiracy theory: Nog dropped out because he knew the PPV rate for this event would be shit and stands to make more in three-four months on a better card. Debunked: why not fight on both?
Re: UFC 149: Faber vs. Barão (Jul/22) UFC 149: oh sweet mercy.... Siyar out injured, new bout is Chris Clements vs Matt Riddle.
Re: UFC 149: Faber vs. Barão (Jul/22) Brian Ebersole in for Patrick, fight with Head promoted to main card.
Re: UFC 149: Faber vs. Barão (Jul/22) MAIN CARD (Pay-per-view) Urijah Faber (135) vs. Renan Barao (135) Hector Lombard (185.5) vs. Tim Boetsch (186) Cheick Kongo (231) vs. Shawn Jordan (250) Brian Ebersole (171) vs. James Head (170) Chris Clements (170) vs. Matt Riddle (170.8) PRELIMINARY CARD (FX) Court McGee (185.5) vs. Nick Ring (185) Roland Delorme (135) vs. Francisco Rivera (136) Anthony Perosh (205) vs. Ryan Jimmo (205.5) Bryan Caraway (135.5) vs. Mitch Gagnon (135) PRELIMINARY CARD (Facebook) Antonio Carvalho (145) vs. Daniel Pineda (145) Mitch Clarke (155) vs. Anton Kuivanen (156)
Re: UFC 149: Faber vs. Barão (Jul/22) Lombard is way too emotional. If he wins, he doesn't want to fight Silva. He wants a fight with Mark Munoz because Munoz commented on him not having UFC wins and getting a potential title shot. I can't imagine the UFC brass going through with this. He'll either get Weidman or Silva.
Re: UFC 149: Faber vs. Barão [tonight!] What a terrible card. Worst PPV I have seen in recent memory.
Re: UFC 149: Faber vs. Barão [tonight!] Worst card Ive ever seen. Wish I wouldve just stared at Mamba's sig for 3 hours instead...
Re: UFC 149: Faber vs. Barão [tonight!] Didn't buy or go and watch this one. Looks like that was the right choice.
