I think Beal is worth trading up for if they aren't sold on Lillard or Drummond at 6. I'm in the camp of we need talent more than we simply need as many picks as possible. I'd rather have one great prospect than 2 role players. Beal isn't a can't miss prospect, but he's got a game that should translate well.
I agree. I think if there is a separation between #6 and whatever number is ahead of that then go get that number. If it's #2 or if it's #5.
Anyone mention this? Reported today Drummond has back spasms which may cause his stock to fall. Called a medical red flag. I'm the least suspicious person in the world, but drafting an Ohio State big man with medical red flag makes me REALLY nervous.
That's what sucks about drafts these days, BPA and BPP are two completely different things. Raising the age requirement would do nothing but help the NBA.

I read it as him saying Lillard is a bait-and-switch pick. But maybe he meant that he's the catch and he's got them interested now.
