Penn State as an OV is just completely out of left field for Vanderdoes. Plus, he doesn't even list USC as an OV? Penn State, though? I still can't get over that one. Why? That program is a dumpster fire right now.
Top rated WR Ricky Seals Jones who had previously committed to Texas, has put Oregon in his top 4 schools STOMP
re: Vanderdoes visits. Alot of West Coast kids will do their Unofficial Visits to USC and Oregon since they are easier to get to, and save the OV's for schools farther away.
That makes sense, but he sure seemed excited to go to the 'Bama/LSU game on 11/3. Would rather he was in LA to see Oregon whoop up on the Trojans.
Well still, if I was a big hulking monster of a D-line, and if I wanted to play at the next level, I would, unfortunately, play at either Nebraska, Wisconsin, or at LSU. Just a thought. Woah woah woah Seriously? That's Awesome. Oregon Basketball ain't too shabby right? And about the linebacker corps, we should try to find more available, I mean we could aim for Larenz Bryant, Mike Mitchell, Tim Kimbrough, Alex Anzalone, And Hutchings himself. And there's Peter Kalambayi, Jermaine Grace, and Walker Jones. Although, we may very well lose Hutchings :/
I can see Nebraska cause Eddie fancies himself a SUH like player, but Penn St. will be marred with this Sandusky nightmare for years to come and LSU also makes some sense but I've got to think that AA will have some play in this saga.......
He has already visited several West coast schools, it sounds like he's taking some additional free trips to parts of the country his dad can't drive him to. Oregon may not land his commitment but I'm hearing we're still the leader...fret not this is just part of the process STOMP
Shouldn't AA be talking to him and Hutchings? Weren't they cozy with each other? But yeah, Vanderdoes could easily become the next Suh or JJ Watt. He's thinking for his future academically as well as to ascend to the next level
Totally. He's getting a chance to see the country for free and see some amazing football games and atmospheres. I can't blame him for wanting to go through the process. As you say, he might not end up a Duck, but I don't think the lack of an early commitment to Oregon is a bad sign (although it's a lack of a good sign ). It is a bad sign for USC, though, because they only have 18 spots and they've already filled half of them. They might not want to hold several open for players like EV. Ed O.
That is true, you have to put yourself in his shoes. I mean, he lives outside of Sacremento, which is like, the half-way point between USC and Oregon. Obviously, he would want to take unofficial visits there to save money, and use official visits to out of state spots(like LSU and Nebraska). I hope that if this kid goes out of state, it would be to Nebraska. He would be the second coming of Suh there
5* Florida DB - Vernon Hargreaves III is reportedly visiting July 5th. I seem to remember another DB with a III in his name that was pretty good
Sure this would be an amazing grab but isn't it a forgone decision that this kid is going to where his dad is coaching in Florida?
The Nike event The Opening is happening around that span. Glad to hear he's interested but probably a longshot STOMP
K.... so what the breakdown on this kid? He's from my neck of the woods although I'm not familiar with this school......
