I don't see any way Nash ends up in PDX. Olshey was very clear he doesn't want aging FAs. All it does is hurt your draft picks for the next few years and doesn't give you team any help for when your real window opens.

I could easily see him sign nash if we drafted marshall at 11. I believe he said he would be open to a stop gap for a few yrs until we have our pgotf. Would give marshall a couple years to get acclimated.

Not my first choice, but I could see it happen

A stop-gap is someone you sign for 5-7 mill (Miller?), not 10+, which is what Nash will want.

Cool. Just posted the tweet cuz it mentioned PDX and because it was regarding a FA. Sorry for ruining your day.

Emiliano Carchia: New Orleans ready to match any offer to Eric Gordon http://www.sportando.net/eng/us… about 11 minutes ago

NUTS!! I want Portland to give him a ridiculous offer just to see if NO actually matches.

I like Gordon a lot. But, it seems like he's on the sidelines more than he's on the court.

For shizzle. If I'm going to pay someone to sit on the sidelines it's going to be Brooklyn Decker or someone hot.

You have to admit, it would be cool to see one of the best point guards ever playing for the Blazers.

I thought I saw a quote in the last week saying Nash would consider NY, though, I can't see him going there. But I'm not surprised by this list - it seems to make a lot of sense. I may be in the minority, but I'd be cool with drafting a young, raw PG and signing Nash to start and train the young PG (so long as it isn't Lillard - I don't want Lillard sitting if we're drafting him at #6). Make a move on 7/1 to guage if you have a chance at Deron, get a feel for Dragic's price range, and then call Nash.

If you draft Lillard, do you try to hire Payton on as an assistant? I know it depends on who the head coach is, but he could add some toughness and experience for the young guards. Payton might bring a different perspective, than . . . let's say . . . Dickau.

Sorry, but Nash, Carmelo and Amare together? Absolutely NO DEFENSE. Thats a 5 or 6 seed in the East still.

If nash decides he wants portland, do you say no thanks? Would aldridge be upset with this since they seemed to build a friendship at the all star game?

I wouldnt mind nash if he sought us out and wanted to play for us.

I dont think nash resigns with phx. Sounded like he wanted out quietly last year and is just too nice, loyal of a person to request a trade when phx has been good to him.

PDX is closer to home for Nash than any other NBA city.

    LOL, Fuck Batum's agent....

    Bouna N'Diaye

That's from a Joe Freeman article.

If Batum wants that kind of money, he can go find it elsewhere.

LOL that's a hilarious response by his agent. It's more funny than anything.
