Sources say Houston has an offer of Lowry, the #14 and #16 picks for Tyreke Evans and the #5 pick on the table. Up to Sacramento to decide.

6/11 and matthews for Evans and 5

    Get it done, Neil

Talked to a source last night and Tyreke Evan's name was mentioned as being very available. Sacramento wants a lot for him.

I'm not a big fan of Evan's. He's a stat filler, but doesnt make his team better and doesnt get wins. Probably why they want to get rid of him. He's also a knucklehead.

Source involved in Houston-Kings talks says the Rockets have not offered the No. 14, No. 16 pick and Kyle Lowry for Tyreke Evans and No. 5.

Evans seems like the type of guy that will bounce around. Good talent, but would not want him my team.

IMO, its like saying you wouldn't want prime Rasheed Wallace on your squad.

11 and Matthews to move up one spot? (joking?)

I still wouldn't mind seeing if there was a way to get 14 and 16 from Houston for 11. Or, if they really want to stockpile picks then 11 for Lowry.

I don't think Olshey will trade picks for Lowry. He keeps making comments about how there is just not enough talent out there to overcome the value of the picks. He also talks a lot about not adding mid-level players. I think Lowry could fit both those descriptions.

    Maybe?

I can see if Drummond is really their guy, or if Barnes slips to #6, taking one of them and dealing #11 for a guy like Lowry. I know many aren't fans, but this team could do a lot worse for a PG than him, IMO

It would be great to get one of their picks strait up. Boston is under the cap now, right? If Philly or maybe Minne, we would have to take a player back.

He may not be the level of PG some people but I can only imagine how good he would look compared Failton last year

The question is what point in the game are you at? Is a sacrifice fly good enough, or are you willing to take the lower odds and try for a home run. (and I hate baseball).

Is Lowry better than the potential of what Lillard could be in a few years?

I can see where you would think that, but in my mind the comparison is not valid. Sheed was all around a great player. He had little weaknesses in his game. And his teammates loved him. (For the most part)

Evans may have been brooding last year because they played him out of position, but what is his position? I know he was the rookie of the year, but he seems to be a role player to me who thinks he is a star. That won't end well.

This is the gamble right? Lillard's ceiling is higher, and his floor is lower. Lowry is a relatively known commodity. Where the team is now, is it better to take the chance, or take a player who is 80% of the ceiling?

In this draft I would go for Lillard, just because I don't like the way Lowry played this out in the media. That drops his value to me.

At this point if you could trade 11 for 16, 18 or 20, 21 and have kendall marshall and moultrie or sullinger available, would you do it?

Rivers models his off court behavior on Kobe Bryant? Does that include raping waitresses, having numerous affairs and trying to introduce his mistress to his children? Oi vey

I don't think so, but what I am saying is if the Blazers view Drummond and or Barnes ahead of Lillard, and one of them is there, dealing #11 for Lowry might be a good trade?
