    You could always do a 3 team trade with another team that needs to fill salary and wants what Crawford's new team has to offer. Maybe it could be something structured in an attempt to move up? or move down?

    I'm wondering if he will opt in to whatever team he thinks he will have a chance to put up good numbers with. Maybe he and his agent decided since he didn't have a very good year last year, it's not a good time to negotiate a longterm deal.

    This is very good thinking on Jamal's part. It helps Jamal and it helps the Blazers. It would be kind of funny thought if Jamal gets traded and then that team hires Nate to be head coach. Awkward!

    I really wish this would get done before the draft.
