He's healthy now. Healthier than LMA at the moment! :devilwink:

I think he'd be our best scorer from day 1.

Aren't you supposed to have at least 250 posts to be able to start a poll?

Unless I was already assured by Williams' agent that he absolutely won't consider Portland, then he would be my first call.

    Same with Dragic.

Chasing restricted free agents like Gordon or Hibbert seems to me to be a waste of energy.

To tell the truth; I don't see how Portland is going to get a high impact free agent this off-season.

I would have more posts but you never leave your computer home when I come to visit the Mrs. HCP.

    Boom!

To be fair, he just puts his computer away cuz he doesn't want your sticky fingers on his keyboard.

I thought his agent said please don't contact him. Don't they want to talk to all 29 other teams first?

I voted for Deron Williams just because he's the only sure fire guy available. You gotta make that call even if you think it will be short and negative.

I think the second call should be to OJ Mayo.

I'd consider a "Plan B" strategy with Batum:

Assume he receives an offer that is plus $8 million per year - - -

Pursue a double sign and trade with NOH for Gordon and Kaman? Monte most likely covets Batum - - so force them to sweeten the pot and give us back a bit more than Gordon.

And if this could be orchestrated - first go sign the best possible wing out there....although there isn't many wings available now.

After the way that everything went down in the Chris Paul trade, do you really think Gordon's clamoring to reunite with Olshey?

    OJ Mayo? Oh, hell no.

Jameer Nelson and OJ Mayo are two guys on that list I do NOT want on the Blazers.

I thought I heard Olshey say that Lillard could potentially be the starter from Day 1. If that's the mindset, then fuck getting a PG. Go after a SG or C.

I wouldn't mind any of those three but we have to give hibbert a max in hopes of getting him. Hawes I wouldn't pay more then 4 year 30m and lopez I wouldn't go hire then 4 40m. You know Brooklyn is gonna match lopez.

For everyone wanting Gordon apparently NO is gonna match even a max.

It sickens me how much I'm agreeing with you lately in terms of how to approach the draft and FA.

Well, that's some leverage for Gordon then. What's stopping NO from offering him a max as soon as FA begins?
