I like this move because it would allow the team to bring Leonard along slowly. As the primary backup, I'd hope he stars out at around 16-20 MPG. By the time Hibbert's contract ends he'll be 30 and Leonard will be more than ready to take over.
hopefully from his cell phone in the Practice Facility in Tualatin, where he's putting Leonard through some drills right now.
not sure i agree that hibbert is a 36 mpg player, in the playoffs this year he got up to 30.9 mpg though just playing devils advocate anyways, hibbert is a much better fit with LMA
So.... Indy will match (IMO, but without a doubt). Who's next? If its up to KP, like the article says it could be, no way he let's Hibbert go to Portland.
I don't know for sure that Hibbert can continue producing at his per-minute level if his minutes went up, but I think it's a decent gamble. I don't feel that his minutes were purposely kept low due being a limited player (as is generally the case for, like, a 7 MPG player who has awesome per-minute numbers), so that red flag at least isn't there (in my opinion).
yes boring and predictable for DL, but it is what it is, i mean aldridge is a beast and everyones favorite player and we call him LA... its gonna be DL, just saying
Not at all. Dunno why you're shocked those names are ghey? We're talking about young, grown men. Are you ghey? For the record, I'm not in danger of a PapaG meltdown. Thanks for your concern, though.
