Sam Amick @sam_amick First the Perry Jones "gamble," now Hasheem Thabeet? Source says Oklahoma City is the most likely landing spot ...
Re: Ridiculously Expensive Agency Chris Mannix for SI has him ranked 24th, which is far more realistic. Asik is a specialist, but a very good one. 66th is silly. Even 24th might be too low. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/20...nba-top-free-agents/index.html?sct=nba_t11_a9
Probasketballdraft @Probballdraft Agents all across the league are watching Brooklyn closely and waiting to pounce if DWill leaves. The Nets will be overpaying somebody. >>>>>>>>> My guess would be Dragic.
The Nets are like the 2001 Knicks, so desperate to win now they grossly overpay for over the hill veterans. Even with DWill I don't think that roster has any chance of contending. Gerald Wallace, Joe Johnson, Jason Kidd? Thats not going to cut it.
Fred Kerber @FredKerber #Nets one time high radar target Ersan Ilyasova drawing interest from Bucks, Cavs, Raptors, Spurs
Maybe this has been posted, but Flynn's agent says 5 other teams are interested. http://espn.go.com/blog/los-angeles/lakers/post/_/id/31563/source-lakers-on-flynns-list
Marc J. Spears @SpearsNBAYahoo Nuggets agree to re-sign guard Andre Miller to a three-year deal, sources tell Yahoo! Sports. 3 years?!
I think expecting there to be good to great free agent deals is a flawed expectation. I feel like the only times there are good deals is when a player's production unexpectedly rises the season after signing the contract.
Not bad. But your window is aging quick and expensive. And nowhere near as talented or experienced as Boston's crew.
Asik, then kaman makes me think they are scrambling,.and not matching. At least what I want to think.
