Maybe I should scrap my account and post under an alias? I wonder how long it would take for people to figure it out?
Good old hard ass talking Nik. What happened to your obsession with the cig smoking white dude with long hair avatar? You had that for years. Now on to puppets. Nice.
I will keep my mouth shut for the most part. I just want Blazer news. But man. Some of the stuff I read. You guys are all the same as you were 5 years ago lol I just have to say something.
It's all pretty cyclical. Back then we had just gotten a new GM and 2 lottery picks: a perimeter guy who liked to handle the ball and score a lot and a softy project big man to go along with a productive power-forward we weren't sure really should be a team's number one option. That more things change ...
Steve Nash is the most underrated player in the league (along with Andre Miller, who just signed for $9M for THREE years, not one year). This turns the West upside-down. The Lakers are now easily favorites to win the West and 50-50 to win the Finals. Imagine the speed-of-light Suns + Kobe + Gasol + Bynum.
The Lakers haven't wanted ball-dominant point guards to pair with Kobe Bryant. Nash is very much a ball-dominant point guard. Is Kobe going to function as a true off-the-ball player (he certainly can do that well, but often wants the ball in his hands) or is Nash going to become the designated three-point shooter off kick-outs from Kobe, Gasol and Bynum?
dont b all mad bro its a valid Q I wasn't saying there's gonna be trouble, guns drawn in the locker room, etc. I'm curious about how they're going to integrate two ball-dominant guards in the backcourt, even taking for granted that they're both willing to make it work.
