Brewer was a key player on the Bulls? He's a good defender. Inept offensively. This team needs guys who can put the ball through the hole and have a future with some upside. Veterans to fill out the roster doesn't make sense, this team isn't going to be a playoff team.
Kind of surprising how many minutes he played for them, then. The Jazz letting Brewer go was one of the reasons D-Will finally gave up on them.
So he does one thing well, then. That's one more thing than Williams does well No, it needs players that make the team win. You know, like the Bulls did. Remember, they still won at a better clip than us without Derek Rose. Ah yes, the "upside" stat. How is that measured again? Certainly not with that attitude. What we need is to follow the Knicks model of stockpiling gunners, cuz, y'know, that works really well.
^ Your player evaluations are always so far off from mine it drives me silly. Derrick Williams is a gunner....lol
Brush up on your Derrick Williams knowledge. Here's a video. Its even in Espanol for you.
Ooh, YouTube videos! The best way to tell if a player is good!
The Derrick Williams video was all from one game, it's not the same as the video you posted. How much have you seen Williams play?
Enough to know that he doesn't really have a position in the NBA. Like Michael Beasley. So Williams had one good game (playing alongside a great pass-first PG) and that makes him good? Sadly he also had one crappy season. Enlighten me: exactly what is it that Williams does better than the average NBA player? Or even as good as?
8 years ago. But, continue to hold on tight to that rope. Remind me of all the Euro guys you've clamored to come over and have stunk up the joint in the NBA and had their shit sent packing back overseas where they belong?
Rastapopoulous' player evaluation: Everybody in the NBA is overrated except for Euro's, Rajon Rondo and James Harden.
Compare his beginning of the season stats in a condensed season as a 20 year old rookie to his stats at the end of the year...Its night and day. Any time he was given 25+ minutes he thrived.
I can't think of any. Find me the "clamoring" of which you speak and I'll shut up. I can think of exactly one euro player I've absolutely raved about for at least 2 years before he came to the NBA. He's the one setting up Derrick Williams in your nice video. Has it really been 8 years? Wow. And Ammo's playing in Summer League this year. I tell you what: he's more offensively skilled than Derrick Williams.
You mean like this: Code: Scoring Statistics Player Pos G M/Gm FGm FGa PCT 3m 3a PCT FTm FTA PCT AVG 5 williams,derrick PF 33 24.6 118 298 .396 26 92 .283 87 118 .737 10.6 Rebounding Statistics Player AS AS/g ST ST/G TO TO/g BK BK/g TND OR OR/g TR TR/g 5 williams,derrick 20 0.6 14 0.4 44 1.3 19 0.6 9.8 38 1.2 178 5.4 ? Because that was what he did in the second half of last season. We must mean different things by "thrived".
