Great to hear. Very reasonable contract for a guy his age and size. He'll be a decent trade chip over the next 3 years even if he doesn't fit in well next to LMA.

He wouldn't be bad but that would not solve the problem. He is listed as a 210 lb SF. We would still need some bulk in the middle.

Ken Berger ‏@KBergCBS Joel Freeland's three-year, $9M agreement with the Blazers is contingent on resolving a buyout with his Spanish League team, source says.

if he is signing here than no, i would assume not

blazers can contribute 550k us$$ no problem, any amount over that goes towards the teams salary

It's OK, we can re-sign Joel and acquiring more white guys which will allow us to go over the "white cap".

So are we going to start getting some fans from England on here now? They would be preferable to our friends from the Midwest. The Hcp would probably love them.

    #19

    Love his voice

    Stretch 4

Can play the 5 a little bit as well

    Likes the pick and roll

    Very well spoken

    25 years old now

Blazers hounded him everyday to sign, which meant a lot to him

Tried to follow team as much as possible in Europe

    Faster paced game in NBA

Much greater athletes from top to bottom in NBA

LOL brought up Nic's contract issue as for reason he didn't play against GB

    Excited about Olympics

Hasn't spoken about role yet. Knows he needs to fight for position

He will come over early to prepare for season

    Loves the game of basketball

Been here in 2007 for summer league practice

    GF will come with him

Used to the rain from England

If he is going to play the 5 he will need to put weight on

Listening to him reminded me that I need to get caught up on all my MI5 TV shows I taped this summer. Awesome show BTW if you have never seen it.
