    I can only do a quick drive by post but I've been reading through the thread and it's a hoot. Just like everyone else gotta give props to Brian in WA. Also Coast541's avatar is hilarious. And finally, am the only one here giggling inside about the possibility that Kahn won't go through with making the cap room he needs (doesn't want to lose assets only to be matched) and we end up negotiating with Nic's agent directly for less money?

    I don't think this would happen, but I'm almost wishing inside (because of my disdain for Ndaiye's "tactics" but my like for Nic's game) that the Blazers go to Nic in a week and say "so....it seems like our 4/28M is still the best offer you have. Would you like to use my pen?"

    I think we would be willing to offer 5/35M ;)

    Is Batum, who's never had anything more than a couple million on a rookie contract, willing to leave $30 million on the table just to be an UFA next season? He's too scared to practice with the Olympic team until he signs I can't imagine him walking away from even a $7 million per deal.
