I'd stay away from Mayo. He is a guy who needs a lot of shots to be effective, and I can think of about 50 players I'd rather have taking 14-16 shots per game for me than Mayo. Like he showed last year, he can't handle running the point either. He's a terrible decision maker, a marginal athlete, and is probably the most selfish player I've seen on the Grizzlies since Chucky Atkins was running around out there pretending he was Allen Iverson. Not to mention, given this year's free agency market, he's likely going to get overpaid. Besides, wouldn't bringing in Mayo be a little redundant with Matthews in the lineup?
