    If Batum's preference is Minnesota, I would have a hard time believing that this is true. If it was offered I would hope that Neil and PA say yes. If true, it's hard to imagine that PA's just acting out of spite. I don't believe it was offered.

    What's the value of Derrick Williams to the Blazers though? He looked like a bust last year. 41% for a PF?? We already have a much better backup PF in JJ Hickson.

    On the Knicks deal, maybe the Knicks are holding out so they can do a sign and trade and send Lin to the Blazers.

    You have to look at him a little differently, IMO. No summer league last year, no real practice time, he has lost a bunch of weight this year to play SF
