According to CSN's David Kaplan, the Bulls have signed veteran Vladimir Radmanovic to a one-year deal.

Radmanovic confirmed to Kaplan that the one-year deal will be officially announced on Thursday.

In 49 games with the Atlanta Hawks last season, the 31-year old forward averaged 4.5 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.

Now that's the kind of performance that'll put us over the top!

Honestly, he could be pretty good for us in a few situations. I'm not sure how many of those situations will arise.

He can still shoot the 3. Could play a stretch 4 in some situations.

We dont have the money to sign the players we would like to have.

Not "going over the top" for at least a couple of years. On the Jonathan Hood Show Larry Coon said realistically all the Bulls have left is 4 mill. That was before the Radmanovic signing. True we have the TPE exception, but dont look for us to use it right now. Larry said, "Bulls really, really do not want to pay the luxury tax."(Quote) Said it could stifle them in the future.

We are not going for it this year or next.

Warm body. 1 year deal. Cheap.

Looks like a win by some standards.

We're not closer to a title though, that's for sure.

It's really situational, isn't it? The signing somehow feels like its adding insult to injury. If the Bulls had a better summer, we'd be praising the move as a nice little tweak.

He could be our opening day starter. Think about that.

Maybe another Derrick Rose will fall out of the sky.

That's the only reason these goofs had a semi-contender to begin with.

Hood and Friedell were spinning the idea that the Bulls let Korver go through a trade. This was even before we signed this guy. They said, Kyle had regressed. i dont know if I agree with that. He had a hard time getting open. Especially playing with the second unit. True there were some games where he couldn't hit as well as we would like, but that is true of any shooter.
