Ahhh, so it really wasn't Fez that shed light on Faried.....My post wasn't that I was trying to be the first. Its that Fez didn't start the Faried campaign. Hell, he acts like he lead the 1 man march.
I can't find where it went (maybe Denny knows), but it's not that I was a superscout, but b/c I did a bunch of research and writeup on college rebounders and how they transition. At the time, I didn't know if Faried was more of a random guy from small college, or if he was legit. Then he went back to school. Then I threw a lot of things on draft night 2011. No offense to Nolan Smith. BTW, if you're reading, Nolan...learn the P&R and shoot some jumpers.
It's the one thing I can honestly say I'm comfortable saying I have a good shot at winning, even without knowing any of you guys. So that's always my trump card.
Fez could almost go back and link an "I told you so" thread about every player in this last draft. He rotated guys in and out of his signature so fast, it was hard to keep up on who he was repping from week to week. Off the top of my head, Fez wanted: Beal Marshall TRob Waiters MKG Am I forgetting anyone?
I'm going to guess "Yes". He probably wanted Drummond at some point as well. Then again, I was for Lillard at 6 and trying to get Drummond as well for some time. Leonard I didn't warm to until I soured on Drummond. I also wanted Zeller early on before being able to study Leonard and his incredible athleticism compared to Eric Montross, er, Tyler Zeller.
