Sly, I generally like your methods. However, in this instance, nothing is being ameliorated. I personally would have prefered if you'd just have deleted every post in this pissing match. Or better yet, lock this bitch, since I can't seem to keep myself from stupidly clicking the thread to see if someone posted something interesting. Is this the thread someone said was worthless in the beginning? It wasn't, but that person and his bossom buddy certainly achieved that objective. Maybe this is all just performance art, and these two are a team? I hate performance art.
I started off deleting posts last last night. I actually deleted 2 pages of posts but neither one would stop the argument. So I went with my usual editing of posts and that didn't do much either. They went at it for 2 hours and over 100 posts. I really have no answer when these two lock into one of their bitch wars.
does it matter? just let them stretch their legs a little heres a suggestion when a flame war breaks out just move all of their posts to a new thread titled "so and so and so and so's super cool drama queen face off to the death" with a poll to determine who is the winner that way they get their own thread and anyone who wants to watch can go in and check it out
I've done this and there were people who bitched about it. There's no way to keep everyone happy. Period.
I actually had some black guy yell at me at the movies, with 3 of my children in tow, because he was behind me in line and asked if he could go in front of me because he was "meetin' his posse" inside to "roll up on some shit". I said no because he irritated me, and he told me it was typical for a white man to oppress a young black man. I turned to Jantone and told him, in front of the idiot, that if he ever spoke like that he would be grounded for a week.
