He said I said I was going to "whip his ass". I would love somebody to find where I said this........

I have fun on here and may get heated sometime, but I don't remember EVER threatening anybody on here.

I'm working the Timber game right now, but I'll pay somebody to find where I said that. The only time I even posted something towards him was in the infamous FAMS thread.

We can all remember that we're Blazers fans first and foremost and remember that none of this is all that serious... hopefully :)

Please. You realize Webber, Hurley, Penny etc were all college players, right? Wade, LeBron, Bosh, Chandler, and Kobe are NBA champions. LeBron didn't put his foot in his mouth. He honored the old team before saying they could beat them. LeBron/Wade/Bosh are in their primes. Magic and Bird well past theirs. What's wrong with LeBron believing in the team he plays for?

Chandler and Bosh being NBA champs doesn't make them better players than Chris Webber was in his prime.

    Hurley wasnt anything great though.

Great.... Magic and Bird were past their primes..... but Barkley, Jordan, Pippen, Stockton, Malone, Ewing, Robinson, etc were all in their prime. It would be a fucking slaughter.

Hurley was great in college. Webber wasn't in his prime. He was in college. And by the way, they DID beat the Dream Team. If a bunch of college players could beat the Dream Team, LeBron and company could.

Maybe, maybe not. Regardless, LeBron said nothing wrong. No foot in mouth. Time to stop jumping all over the guy.

Magic Johnson was 32 years of age during 1992... Kobe Bryant is 33 right now.

It's easy to think of Magic as "past his prime", but he was still relatively young and he'd had a PER of over 26 in the 1990-91 season (and would put up a PER of over 21 when he was 35 during his comeback).

Heck, Jordan was younger in 1992 than Wade is right now. Barkley was younger in 1992 than Bosh is now.

The notion that the Dream Team was full of old men is not accurate. (I'm not saying that you said that, Kingspeed. Just that it's easy to do without actually checking the ages of the players involved.)

Exactly. It's a misnomer to think that the team was a bunch of old guys. I'd say most of them were at the pique of their games.
