    Yup, my share of Packers stock allows me to go to the annual "shareholders" meeting in Lambeau, and I can purchase some "owners only" swag from the Packer's pro-shop, but other than that it's basically like a voluntary tax and a chance to put something on your wall. The funny thing is most fans are cool with that since they all know it's wink-wink-nudge-nudge.

    Yah, I would invest to make money, in fact as a long term investment it would be a rock for anyone to bank on. Basketball teams are better that real estate for stability and values going up over the long haul.

    My Grandfather was from Appleton.

    I got a Lynn Dickey Jersey thrown on my back when I was 8 without knowing how much misery I was going to be in for, until the Ron Wolf/Mike Holmgren/Favre resurrection in the nineties. That said, the last twenty years have been pretty 'O-rite'.
