Arsenal closing-in on Santi Cazorla?

    The Spaniard is not having a good time at the Spanish club, and with the Premier League giants, Arsenal, interested in signing the player, he is expected to leave.

    Recently there were rumours surrounding Santi Cazorla’s departure from Malaga. The Spanish club has recently lured in a lot of quality players and the former Villarreal star is definitely one of them.

    Cazorla is planning to leave the Spanish club since his wages have not been received and Malaga have not even paid the complete fee for the player who they bought from the Yellow Submarine.

    The Spanish midfielder joined Malaga from Villarreal for 20 million Euros. The star player was able to live up to the price tag given to him, as he managed to help the Spanish club reach the top-four of the Spanish La Liga.

    This means that Malaga will be competing in the UEFA Champions League qualification round in the coming season. However, since Villarreal have reported the fourth-placed team to the UEFA, they might not be allowed to perform in the European competition.

    Would be a good signing for Arsenal but I think City will put in an offer sooner of later and get him.

    Malaga are in serious debt so they'll let him go on the cheap.

    Cazorla (anyone else want to say ka-zola rather than kaz-or-la?) is on his way to London for a medical with the Arsenal training staff, according to reports. A transfer could be imminent.

    Rumours abound that Arsenal have secured Cazorla for £12.5m, pending him passing his medical. Other reports have the fee as high as £17.3m.

    Yeah, Arshavin was less than that, £15m-16m IIRC.
