Look again. Halfway through Carter's term, they began to barely exceed the Nixonian era. They spiked a couple of years into Reagan, when you bought your house at the high interest rate. Well into Reagan's watch. Your pictures of conservatives preventing progress are supposed to support your side? Whatever, thanks for the favor, and keep posting pictures of conservatives looking like idiots.
That's the Republican Party's policies you're using as an example. The only difference back then was people stood up to them, and yes, I long for the days when citizens had backbones and stopped a war and removed a criminal president from office. Bush/Cheney did the same only worse without being held accountable. Romney/Ryan would simply be an extension of the Nixon/Nixon/Ford/Reagan/Reagan/Bush/Bush/Bush crushing of the American spirit.
You look again. The bottom of the graph is half-way between 1975 and 1980. That would be 1977.5, or 6 months into Carter's term.
My expectation would be that that would cause a rip in the space-time continuum, and I'd be thrown back into the past, probably the 1940s, and I'd spend the rest of the episode finding a way to reverse the effect. barfo
The sad, grinding life of the 99%. How will they survive? http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/09/u...cluded.html?_r=2&smid=tw-share&pagewanted=all
well, its statistically based, so its not really something you can opt out of kind of like... are you a dolphin? a: yes b: no you are either one or the other
Yeah, just like Joe Leiberman is a Democrat. Every one of them was a racist and a criminal, not to mention an enemy of the state. They were no more Democrats than you are compassionate towards the less fortunate.
Just like FDR was a Democrat, you mean. And I have more compassion for the less fortunate than you do.
