I always cringe when I think of this. I think I told you guys before that I grew up 4 houses down from the Goldschmidts. I was completely shocked when this all came out. Nothing but good memories of him and his family. Horrible story though.

You're a fucking clown. Portland is one of the best cities to live in in the country. What Utopian society do you reside in might I ask?

Forgive me if I sound like a troll, but from what I've picked up from posting on the Blazers' board this past summer, it sounds like being from a suburb of Portland is like being from a suburb of a suburb.

    Am I wrong?

(EDIT: I mean that strictly in terms of comparative demographics, not in terms of condensed population and tall buildings.)

Note of clarification. The "manly" part was in regards to the Sam Adams issue

Feel free to kiss my fucking ass. Doesn't matter where I live...it's better than Portland. I'm not the one beating my chest about where I live.

No you're not, but you are ripping the city I was raised in. To have so much hatred and anger towards one I the most beautiful cities in the country is crazy. Wherever you live must be amazing.

LOL @ hatred and anger at Portland, FAMS. Just because I think the people you vote into office are pathetic doesn't mean I hate Portland.

Have you ever been to San Diego, or Seattle?

Probably the only other 2 cities plus SF that I would live in besides PDX.

So I'm at a McMinnamins last night (in town for work) and I grab the ketchup. "Portland Ketchup Company." Fuck me. "Yeah, you can have your Heinz or whatever corporate fascist bullshit ketchup you want, but if you want an ethically treated tomato sauce harvested by union organic PhD philosophy lesbians then, well, nevermind. You've probably never heard of it...."

When Minneapolis starts making its own ketchup, there will be a rivalry. Until then, Portland is too self-absorbed to care about any other city.

yeah, they never vote idiots into office in Seattle or San Diego. Nope, never. It's just an anomaly in Portland.

Every city votes idiots into office, some more often than others. I was taking exception child molesters/rapists as mayors.

What gets me laughing is that it's not the only ketchup company in Portland. There's the one that's served at Little Big Burger too, which is spicy.

When the donut shop I frequent switched from Stumptown coffee to Water Street coffee because Stumptown had taken VC money, I laughed my ass off. Portland has its head firmly up its own ass, sniffing farts. But I wouldn't have it any other way.

That's awesome. While I was ranting about the Portland hipster ketchup, all the while there was also a spicy indie Portland ketchup that, of course, was so underground I'd never heard of it.

We just signed Coby Karl who played for the Timberwolves Summer League Team and gave him #7, Brandon Roy's old number.

Did anyone notice the Timbertrolls were in the chat on the media day chat room on the Blazers site yesterday? They're obsessed.
